Hey guys..... noobie here. [hihi]

I have been driving my 1986 325E since it was new. It has about 245K and still has the original clutch. Does this thing even wear out [?|] ? Thinking to overhaul my clutch, anyone have a write up I can read. [:)]

Hello and welcome. If your clutch is working fine I would not bother. How much travel is there in the pedal? Are you able to shift properly and easily? If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

There are a couple things you can do to check the system, but i think that is if you have trouble in the first place. Like big daddy said, if its not problematic, it should be fine.

Thanks for the welcome...... :).

I don't have any problem in shifting or engage at any gears at all except the shifter is a kind slop after 17 year of hard driving. Any thing I can do to fit her back to new again. I have other newbie question in the other post. TIA.
