Is this a problem?

Noticed when I was rotating my tires... For the last couple of months I could hear some weird metallic 'ding' type of sound when I drove over long dips in the road at high speed.

Well... I have finally learned what was making that sound. Broken spring. A bottom piece, about 6 inches long broke off and was still sitting on the control arm.

Should I worry about this big time? Or just drive easy....?

you are a life saver, that same sound has been driving me insane for months as well! just now before going to work i jacked up the car and low and behold i found a piece of my spring, gonna get it replaced today while they since theyre doing my brakes

Get it replaced. You should also replace the other side (do it in pairs).

it took five minutes what sucks is i work for NSI and get parts at ten percent off list but we were out of barrel springs dealer - 119 which sucked but fixed none the less, plus more bad news while on the lift i saw i need a new axle seal, my brand new left axle has a torn boot, and my rack is slowly going to pieces
