Earlier this year, I started noticing a weird trail of liquid coming from the middle/rear as I was pulling my car into my garage. It seemed sort of greasy, darkish brown to green in color and the drops were about the size of a quarter. There would be a small pool of liquid where I had come to a stop waiting for my garage door to open and then a couple of feet worth of the quarter-size drops. I did some checking around and didn't notice any other leaks and this problem was very intermitant. The dealer checked for leaks and said it's probably the overflow reserves from the air conditioning. That seemed to jive since I had been driving longer hauls and had been using the air.
Now I'm noticing the problem more frequently.
AND, now that I'm running the heat, I'm noticing a problem with my heater blowing COLD air. I can only get hot air after I turn the temp and blower up to the max. Once it warms up, I'll turn temps/blower down.
Are the two issues related? What's the problem?
What should I ask the dealer to check for? My car is almost 5 years old, so I don't know if this is common.
