When I bought my BMW, the sales person said to check out BMWCCA and try joining it. The cost is $35/year and it seems you get alot for your membership dues. Especially if you partake in some of the activities they have.

Anyhow, as I was browsing their site, I noticed that they are giving $500 for folks who own 3 series cars and $1500 for people owning 7 series vehicles. It's for anyone who just bought a Bimmer after 1/1/03. I'm like whoa, a free $500 paycheck. How in the heck can they do that????[???1]

Well, I'm going to send them my info and get hooked up. [:D]

I'd recommend other new BMW owners to check them out. Perhaps claim your money as well. Just seems like it's too good to be true. Hmm, I deposit $35.00 and get $500.00 back with a year subscription to Roundel. Not a bad investment.

You must be a member of the club for one year before the purchase, that is true. However for your $35.00 you get the club magazine, Roundel, a very professional mag, with tons of information. You also get many discounts at many BMW dealers, or other BMW repair facilities. You will also get a chapter newsletter. It is $35.00 well spent. I have been a member for more than nine years.

But how can you be a member for one year if you don't even own a BMW? I believe Akakubi linked me to this web site because I was interested in participating in the events. But I think you need to be a BMW owner to enroll...how gay.

No you do NOT have to own a BMW to be a member! And besides, if you are a member and then buy a new car you benefit. Isn't that what a club is there for, to benefit its members? I would not call that "gay".

I'll consider it, but I probably won't bother. Imagine me showing up for a BMWCCA event in a Japanese machine (designed to compete with BMW)? I'm sure everyone will love me..............

We had many members between cars and driving non-BMW autos. We had one in a Subaru and one in a Chrysler. Many remain after selling their BMW's for the magazine, social aspect, and a fair rebate should they buy a new BMW later.
