Just got back from the Bimmerfest last night

Woohoo, what an event! I haven't seen so many Bimmers in one place at once...ever. [headbang] Still need time to go over my pictures (over 300 I think), but here are a few links from the guys who posted earlier.

Pelican parts gallery is really cool, nicely done. The other one looks like it should have been called "drunkfest'...!

The other thing also, is that most attention went to the "souped up" cars. It was good for the vendors, but seemed like a "Hot Imports" event by the end.

The caravan was awesome though. It's fun to drive in a company of so many BMW's for 50 miles.

I wish Chicago would have some type of car action going on. I think the only thing I have to look forward to is the Chicago Car show and (if that) the Hot Import Nights which supposedly will have Bimmers in it. If there was a Bimmerfest in Chicago you can bet alot of people would go, its equal in distance from wether your in NY or LA [headbang]

Yep, it was fun indeed! And talk about the party town... Seems like Santa Barbara is all about party at night. Lots of bars and clubs in one area with thousands of people migrating from one place to another. Pretty nice.

They are trying to set up 'Fests all over the place now, but it's hard to organize. They want to go North and South as well. I think there will be at least one more on the East Coast in October...
