I'll take some better pics of her tomorrow. I've learned a lot on this site about what to expect. Thanks for all the info!!
It's truly a pleasure to drive -- No comparison to the IS300 that I test drove before buying. Granted, the IS300 will probably cost considerably less to maintain over the years, but it's just not in the same league in regards to interior and exterior styling. I'll have to wait to see what I think of the E90 until I see it in person. To me, the styling of the E46 is unparalleled and timeless. They could have continued with the same body and interior and improved the overall HP and still been number 1. Time will tell.
My only regret is that I wish I had ordered the premium package with it. I ordered the leather seats alone and for only $700 more bucks I could of gotten the premum package. Live and learn.
What do you guys think of the stair step pattern of the Xenon lights? My initial impression was that something was wrong with the lights until the dealer explained the system. My eyes got drawn to the greater illumination on the right side and left me with the feeling that I couldn't see as well on the left. That will definitely take some time getting used to.
Thanks again for all the info. Happy motoring. It's good to be in the club!!

welcome aboard Mike, and nice ride! i really like that blue on the zhp. it'd def cool that you are one of the few 05 zhp owners w/ manuals. (not that step tro is bad or anything, but i think the manual lives up to the spirit of the zhp.)

the sliver cube trim is sweet, i like it better than the black cube, esp in your interior color. (if you look closely at my avatar, you'll see the silver cube in the background. so glad i made that choice)

Patch: If you don't mind telling us, what kind of dicount did you get? I agree with you about the styling. The 3 series is the only good looking car that BMW makes IMO.

Sly: Here's how the breakdown in cost went:

330i, ZHP, Mystic Blue, Zenon, Gray leather

The moonroof and Silver cube trim are no extra cost for 2005

$40,075 for the car and States shipping to the dealer. (Shipping was a little over 2k)
$Tax (5.6%) and Registration was $2165.55.

I purschased the car from Kolon motors military sales when I was stationed in S.Korea. When it was all said and done, I got the car pretty close to dealer invoice. Since I'm in the military in AZ, I only had to pay $20 for the registration as opposed to nearly $700. I think with the E90's on there way out, people will probably get as good of deals or better in the near future on E46's, but only for what is on the lot. I don't think you would find my car configured the way it is sitting on the lot. I had to order it. Finding a 6 speed is hard enough. Finding it with mystic blue and gray leather is probably impossible.
