It's finally over, the 325i from hell and all of it's problems are gone.
I dropped it off at the dealer with 8.5k miles so they can go and sell it as a CPO with a 100k warranty to someone else for $31-32k.
I bargained the 330i (42k msrp) to $155 above invoice, and in exchange for buying the car I get out of the 325i at no charge. Anyway enough of the depressing past, I already have 64 miles on the 330i, only 1186 miles till I can take her to 6500rpm and hit 100+.
I noticed the car has lowprofile eagle goodyears with "racey" rims and huge brake pads. Anyone know if the eagles are better than the michelins? What about potholes are the rims and tires sensitive, should I pay $400 for a tire/rim dealer warranty? afterall I am in NYC.
Anyhow aside from having to press the trunk button on the remote key 3 times to open the trunk she's perfect and a pleasure to drive in comparison to the 325i. [driving2]
