Am presently driving a 2004..2 month old sapphire black 318i Sport..basically performance pkg thingy that u get in the us frm what i gather.

Thinking to changing to the Subaru Impreza WRX STi Version6 which i test drove the other day and is hell quick...used to drive a Nissan Skyline so kinda crave for the push now...

it is a 2000 car and has about 50k km's on the clock...alot cheaper tho and would save me alot of payments..

anyways, just some opinions cause if i keep the BMW, id spend alot of money modding it and prob not get the money back when selling whereas with the REX, its fast enough and with minimal mods, i can go even faster
:)

thanks'

The scoobies are nice from a driving perspective, but butt ugly IMO. If they could move the intercooler and rid the car of that hood scoop. they'd be alot better off. Personally, I like the older model Rex ('03s) with the round lights. Does the Aussie Rex have the same power specs as the US model?

Everytime i see someone in a Subaru, i just feel bad for them. It's sad, b/c the cars are so completely ugly, no offense, and I can only imagine their lack-of-taste. Now, the Sky-line GT, which you once had.... that's a hott car. See you've already been at the top of the pillar, with the skyline and the bimmer, so why fall back down to the bottom? Remember.... you get what you pay for... Best of luck man.

Oh come on, the Subaru isn't ugly at all. The 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX is a great-looking car. It's just not pretty. The look it's going for is a VERY purposeful, mean, muscular, "I'm gonna rip up the road " kinda look.
The inside is very shitty as it only has the most basic features. But just use the money you saved by not buying a $30K+ BMW and purchase the leather seating surfaces kit (and go for the optional ass-warmers if you want), and replace the factory Double-DIN head unit with a navigation unit, and you've got a pretty nice sport sedan in your hands.

if it's speed yer looking for, it's hard to beat out a wrx, esp a sti version. if luxury is not what you need, spend every penny on the go power, and take the subi. looks and comofrts shouldn't be a priority for you anyway.

i say go fer it!!

see but when I think subaru, a think the people are cheap. I know many that have bought subaru's, b/c they're cheaper than SUV's, and come standard with AWD, thus blending a wagon with AWD, and creating a very un-suv-like vehicle. Regardless of my opinion, many buy them in replacement of SUV's b/c they're cheaper. Penny Pinchers!! But thats just me, and probably just the area I live in.
