This is for my sons 95 325I
My son called me last night when he was at lunch. He said when he got to his car. The stereo and dash lights were on. Now the key is hard to get in and the chamber turns very easy to start but will not start. The trunk also would not unlock. Everything else is working lights power windows, dash and stereo. It will not turn off or start.I have heard something about Drive away protection. So he was able to disconnect the Battery. I had him wait a few minutes. Then he reconnected. Still nothing. Also the steering is locked
It is locked in accessory mode but the key still turns and comes out when turned to the left.
