All of a sudden after several years working fine, my keys won't open the driver's door lock. [:(] They still lock and unlock the passenger door and trunk just fine.
suggestions?

mine was acting up like that too, i got some oil into the key hole and it's all good. there's also an access plug in the jamb area that allows you to spray oil onto the lock / linkage, on my Z3 anyway.

I got it fixed yesterday at a body shop. The driver's window had been catching on things inside the door, and eventually pulled some wires off the plug in module and broke them. when everything was put back together the lock worked, and another problem, with the auto-up window function, also went away.
