I have a question for 3 series owners who live in hot climates. How is your leather holding up?
I live in south Florida and mine is holding up with no problem. But my car is less than two years old. I park the car in the driveway, but I always use a car cover. My windows do not have after market tints. I use leather cleaner/conditioner about every four to six months. I have seat covers for the front seats, so they still looks new.

Like the others that posted earlier my car is only 1.5 yrs old but does have 23K miles on it. The leather is holding up very good. The car is garaged when not in use. I have grey leather and have had no problems at all. We experience many days of 100+ deg in the Las Vegas area. The average high temp right now is just under 100 deg. My windows were tinted by the dealer when new with a light tint.

Before I bought my car, I looked at used BMWs. On the showroom floor, they
had two similar cars. One car had leather seats, and one had the vinyl seats.

The leather seats had 'ass prints' and looked very worn.

The vinyl seats looked brand new.

So when I decided to order a new BMW, I ordered it with vinyl seats, and
am very happy with them.

(This is for the climate in the Northeast, USA)

I purchased my PreCertified a week ago. It's a 2002 that is about 37 months old, just off of a 36 month lease from the last owner. I see no marks, damage, indents, etc at all in the vehicle. Honestly, I can not tell that it's used. I live in Columbus, OH, so it doesn't get super-hot, but it is frequently 90+ during the summer and unknown temperature inside a closed vehicle.
