Big problem ......4 days before my wedding , my future wife calls me and tells me that my car ( 318ic) dosen t want to move , engine working fine ,it just dosent want to move.So i came to see what s going on and first impresion was that the clutch is gone .
I ve called a friend to help me tow it but as soon as we start i hear a noice coming from the rear side of the car so we stoped and ....my rear left axle was down ....so took it to the first transmison shop and the first invoice was 900$ ( 450 the axle and 450$ installation ) . I ve talked with a diferent mechanic and he said that the labor is going to be around 150 $ !!!!so why this big difrence in price ?And he told me that he can get me a used one for less then 200 $$ . Which one should i choose ???

That is hard to say, it does not list a BMW part number. Notice this is a rebuilt assembly! I would call them and if this is what your looking for I would consider it.
