Eh, maybe I'm a little overly-excited about this, but eh...

Yeah, I replaced the gas spring that holds up the hood. Not sure why I'm excited over this, but eh, messing around in the engine gets a little difficult when you have a hood resting on your back. Haha.

I replaced my antenna grommet, it's the small things that count.

Haha... it is, isn't it. I wonder how happy I'm going to feel when I get my trunk shock fixed. It's doing the same thing.

hahaha, i LOVE cheap repairs... my latest one was repairing my power antenna mast... the mast was stuck like a sunuvabitch, so i removed it from the car & basically SOAKED the mutha facka in penetrating oil, then literally dropped it on the pavement a thousand times till it finally broke free... i just worked it till it back & forth was lnice & oose, put it back in & she worked like a charm after i finally figured out how to get power to the motor w/ my aftermarket stereo

i had to lift out the engine to change the oil pan gasket on mine. it was cheap though, only $15.

Haha... I took the wuss way for that on mine... I took it to a stereo place and had them mess about with it.

It's actually not that hard to do once you have the part and you see how it's set up. I got the part for only $20 from this one site. They sell their parts pretty cheap.
