The shaft of my radio has been getting more loose for some time. With the knob pulled off of it, it seems that it could almost fall back into the radio. I have been searching on the internet for about an hour trying to find instructions on how to remove the radio. My car is a 02 325i. Has anyone else had this happen. Does anyone have instructions on how to remove the radio? Even if I remove the radio, I hope I can repair the loose shaft.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks Big Daddy for the links. Removing the radio was very simple. I then disassembled the radio enough to get to the switch which was a little tricky without having some sort of instructions, but I could do it easily now. The switch is normally held in by two screws into a plastic part. Both areas where the screws go were broken away and the switch was completely loose held only by a small harness ran to it. I had no choice but to rig it by putting a huge blob of Silicon caulking around it and gluing it in place. It works perfect now!!

Thanks Again!
