Check Tirerack. They ran a lot of thorough tests on the M+S tires. I normally found their results pretty accurate, though it was for Max Performance tires.

I run the Perelli P-Zero M&S on my 2000 323i. The performance is spectacular, the road noise is minimal. My criteria is wet/snow performance/handling followed closely by road noise. I need to be able to hear my music and the conversations inside my vehicle without road noise from my tires. I've had nothing but exceptional quality from the Perelli P-Zero M&S tires. I first however did my analysis on-line with TireRack before I purchased my tires. Happy Motoring...

Thanks so much for the advise! The P-Zeros seem to be a favorite of many. Would your opinion change if your criteria was reversed (noise first with performance a close second)???

MJR; according to TireRack there is not a lot of distinction between Road noise and Performance with the P-Zero Nero's. I love to drive and I love my music equally therefore I put Performance and Road noise equal. I believe we are talking about tenths of points between the two categories. Check it out for yourself. The P-Zero Nero M&S is just a plain old good tire in all categories... Price, Performance and Road Noise. Just my humble opinion. Happy Motoring...
