So there I was, all fat and happy after surprisingly dusting a newer model Mustang. I park the car in a local restaurant and when I return there's a brand new SWEEEET M3 coupe parked right behind me. I mean, there were plenty of spots, did the guy really have to rub it in? It really was a beauty, and in the dark it looked almost like a light gold finish.

Yeah the M3 is nice but then again it cost an extra 1,000 in California for gas guzzler. Probably a lot more for insureance, and has a rating of 16 mph city and 24 mph highway and you will be a target for getting pulled over. ..not to mention the big sticker price and the fact that BMW does not deal with the price.

Ultimately, both cars will probably be driven the same about 95% of the time. And when was the last time that you saw an M3 being driven to its full potential??? Its actually funny to see some people buy ferrarris since all they do is baby the car.

I have a piece of s**t VW that does 0-60 in 10.8...and I floor it all the time and usually drive faster than 90% of all the other drivers since they are using crappy automatics.

On the other hand, the M3 has the nicest body package and the best set of rims. The ZHP is looking pretty hot though as well.

To be honest, sometimes I park next to other BMW's as well. I don't do it to rub it in, but rather trust another BMW owner from giving me a surprise door ding when I come back.

Hehe, yeah M3's are sick. I like to think I have one of the faster cars on the road (0-60 in 5.5 seconds), but when I see an M3, I feel absolutely destroyed. They are such amazing cars, and during the summer on a Saturday/Sunday, I'll see like 3 or 4 of them in one day!

I always park next to BMW's to allow our vechicles to socialize and have the opportunity to be around their family members....[:D]

MrElusive: I know how that feels! The other day I saw three M5s just driving around town. I was in awe the entire time. I had never seen one being driven, let alone three in one day!

Bozo,

I absolutely agree with your logic. But then sometimes passion outweighs logic. And *damn* doesn't it feel good when that happens?! [:o)]

Actually BMW in NY does deal on the price of the M3 or at least you'll get it for MSRP.... I personally, If I saved a few $1000 off the price I'd pay in CA be more than delighted to drive it cross country back home, if I were from CA.....
