They don't say dude !!! It's all up to you and your driving style. I believe the average shift points on this board are at around 3,000rpm. Personally, my shift points vary on average, between 2,600 - 3,400 rpm for normal driving.
while the car's cold i try to keep the shift point right around 3k. once warmed up, (not just the water temp, but try to wait for the oil too, even if it's just a guess..) all fair game. but i don't really push it to the red usually..
