[MY CAR JUST HIT 60 000 WHAT SERVICE SHOULD I HAVE DONE TO IT ?
SHOULD I HAVE IT CHECKED OUT AT THE DEALER ?

You should be ready for a Schedule II at 60,000 miles. However whether you go to the dealer or not is your choice and how deep your pockets are... I've attached a weblink that gives you a run down on the services your car will need at each milege interval. I personally stopped going to the dealership after my cars warranty expired. I contacted my local BMWCCA chapter and got the gouge on local shops that specialize in BMW's and have found great service and excellent value. Yeah, no reason to take it to the dealer. Just bring that list to your local independent BMW mechanic.

I'm in the same boat...i have about 60,000 miles as well. What am I lookinig at in terms of pricing for an Inspection II at my BMW dealership?
