I have a 2003 325i Silver Gray Metallic with Mud flaps on the front and back. I am planning to get all the moldings (front/side/back) and mud flaps painted to match the color of my car. Some people don't like mud flaps but I installed it since it makes your car looked lowered. My question is, Should I paint the mud flaps? Does anyone know how will it look if I painted the mud flaps to match my car color?

if you get it done, tell us your experience. I'm thinking of getting it done too, but haven't decided cuz I have a coupe and everyone says it'll look funny on a coupe. Well, that and cuz I still have to tint it and do a whole bunch of other stuff first.

I think I would need to see it both ways in order to formulate a more decisive opinion, but my thinking at this point is that they should remain black. Mudflaps are something that add practical, not aesthetic, value, and I believe they will be more invisible if they are left black---they will blend in more with the tire and the road.

If you paint them, they will become part of the car's body, and I don't think they will enhance the lines of the car or its looks. And---here's one of my favorite sayings--- if something doesn't add, it probably detracts. So go with black.

If anyone has a pic of a Titanium Silver sedan w/mud flaps please post. I agree that leaving them black would be better than painting, and for some reason I think it would actually look good with my Silver/Black color scheme. Wouldn't want to do it until I saw one though.
