Got back from my second trip to Europe in 2 months. [clap] Saw quite a few Bimmers. Finally saw cloth seats in some of them. Let me tell you, it should be illegal to put cloth seats in Bimmers. Quite ugly IMO. [thumbd] Also, noticed that Europeans aren't into "adorning" their cars like we do in the States. Not sure, but I believe I saw 14" wheels on some of the smaller Bimmers. In general, Europeans haven't come to appreciate nice rims like we do in the States. Saw more rubber than wheel. Another thing that is different is a third of the taxis are Bimmers, a third Mercedes Benz, and the other third everything else.

The wife now thinks the Mini Cooper is cute, so she's looking at those instead of a Bimmer. Not sure how I feel about that. Are the Mini's engineered by the English or Germans. I believe they're built in England.

Not true, Europeans adore they’re cars but they feel the car should be simple, luxurious and fast. The only thing is a small percentage can afford the true luxury BMW’s & Mercedes so they are the ones that are adored, because a cloth Bimmer with no name tag is just another car (a Cavalier or a Taurus here), but an M3 with leather means it is a real car, it’s just you see those less – they have more power and more standard feature for more money.

When I told my relative (a native Austrian) that I bought a BMW he said it’s really something to own a BMW – I didn’t see the big deal, but who knows?

Yeah, Europeans really do love their cars. They are the ones who actually purchase SL55's for a REASON---to whip that shit hard !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The cars are out-fitted differently because Europeans don't need leather seats just so they can say "My car has leather seats."
