I'm looking into the Motorola IHF1000 (hands free unit) for my wife's 2001 330cic. Does anyone have any experience with this in an E46 or can you recommend something else?

Parrot evo / 3100 have are better and they have steering wheel adaptors
Interesting. One thing I don't like about the Parrot is that it can't dial voice numbers (only from phonebook). The Motorola lets you say a number to dial. Also, reviews aren't the greatest. Do you actually have one?

yes, it is a small difference, but voice dialing is not allways works anyway. When I need to dial new number (very rare) - just dial on the phone. Parrot compatiple with all the bluetooth phones too.

I installed Parrot with adaptor in E90 and love the integration of the Parrot Bluetooth kits with BMW multifunction steering wheel controls. Voice dialing, answering and ending calls and adjusting volume can all be done without taking your hands off the steering wheel. No cutting or splitting any wires and sound is thru front speakers.
Works like a charm and cost must let that OEM retrofit.

Love it!!! [thumb]
