Moving up a notch or maybe 2

Selling my 328i. Gettting the 2002 0r 3 M3 or the 2005 infiniti FX45. Thoughts?
Though right now i am leaning towards the M3 cos i love bimmers but who knows. Its a tough choice actually not too tough as like i said i am leaning towards the M3

Well the first thing that comes to my mind is......the FX45 and M3 are (clears throat) slightly different classes of cars.....so there is really no way to compare the two.

If you don't get it then you will regret it forever...

ALTHOUGH, if it were me, I'd get the new model, the Infiniti, because I'm not that fond of used vehicles.

Car is going to be used for everyday run around basically. Office and such. Nothing major. The only reason i am considering the infiniti is because its new and of course all the standard features and it almost has the same HP with the M3

Looks like you have one serious dilemma . All though I do drive my FX more because of it's practicality, if given a choice I would definitely stick with the M3. The exhilaration of going from 0-60 in under 5 seconds can never be matched by the FX even though there is a 20hp difference.

If this is going to be a designated family car, then the FX would be a more viable option. Contrary to its sporty looks, it has about the same luggage capacity as an X3. And with it's 5-speed automatic transmission it does get descent gas mileage for a V8 car.

However, for short office runs the M3 be a better choice given its more fuel efficient in addition to it being a more fun car to drive. Either way keep us posted on your decision and if you have any specific questions feel free to let me know.

For the performance and M3 gives they really aren't that inefficient with fuel. They don't get outstanding gas mileage, but they don't really do to bad either for a 333hp car. This is all relative to the type of car it is. It isn't a Civic (gas wise), but it isn't a SUV either.

Thanks a bunch M3. I think i will test drive them one more time then decide. Right now i am in Africa doing a project so it will wait till i get back. But most likely it will be the M3. The girlfriend prefers it also and we all know how important they are.
