Muffler seems to sound alittle loud???2005 325xi

I have a 2005 325xi, and the muffler seems to be alittle loud. Now I am comparing this to my 2002 Monte Carlo ss. The dealer says it fine. My wife was wondering if BMW sells a quiter muffler?? Any thoughts. Thanks Dave

BMWs do have a slightly louder stock muffler than the average American or Japanese car. I doubt BMW sells a quieter muffler.

I bought the car used, but its the original muffer, because I compared it to the others at the dealer.
