My Door Doesn't Open!!

So it's been awhile since I've been here and I hope everyone is doing well. But, I need help!

Over the past month my drivers side door handle has been getting pretty tight. I mean you really have to put some muscle power into it to actually get the handle to engage the door opener thingy <-- sorry for my lack of technical terms Anyways, I went out to my car the other night and i pulled the door handle, and it moved but nothing actually happened. So, i pulled it again and about 50 more times and my door wouldn't budge!! So i had to get in on the passenger side and climb over the console to actually drive my car. The next day it still wouldn't open from the outside but i was able to open it from the inside. But when i opened it from inside, it felt like the handle was going to break in my hand because there was so much resistance. Has anyone ever had this problem or know what the cause could be? HELP!

I misrouted the bowden cable (cable/wire that connecys the inner handle to the door rotator lock) and I could not open the door. If the cable is stretched it won't work. Take off the inner panel (you can do it with the door closed) and inspect the cable for problems. The cable goes through the hole by the air bag nearest to the hinge side.

I had a problem similar to this, however WD-40 cured my problem. I sprayed the WD-40 on the locking parts of the door.
