OK, first of all, I feel like a dufusaurus. I posted a similar announcement under the E36 area... hopefully those guys aren't feeling like I'm rubbing anything in their faces.

Took delivery of my new 330 convertible last weekend and am finally getting around to posting some pictures. This car is everything you guys said it would be and MORE! What a joy to drive. My doorsill says the car was manufactured last month (February 2004), so hopefully I'll avoid the tranny problems people have been ranting about. We've been having amazing weather here in San Francisco, so I've had the top down every day.

These pictures were taken the day after I took delivery.

Congrats...welcome to the club!!!

Congratulations!!!! It is beautiful... I am sure you will love it. I think you will be fine in regards to the tranny problems. My 2004 330cic was produced in late 2003...so I think we are both fine..and I have the German transmission, not the French GM (which was the big problem). You can look at your window sticker, and it will say the country of origin for the transmission. It seems like the first batch of 2004s had the problem. I have had my 04 almost 1 month, and the transmission is the best shifting tranny I have ever had. Besides from the Navi, I got the same exact packages!!!

Have fun....Freude am Fahren!!!! [:)]

Thanks so much for the good wishes deutsch100... I'm having a blast. My sticker shows I've got the French transmission. Since the car was manufactured last month, I'm thinking I'm good to go. Your confidence helps ;-)

"You're the man, Bry."

Love the 'Euro' lenses. I've been waiting to see what they would look like on the

'Silver Gray', thanks... It's not a factory thing w/the 'ZHP' sedan, like mine.

I'll be home the 13th of April and will get my pic.'s posted...
