got a couple of questions for you guys..
i just collected my car from BMW Prahran in Australia and this is what they've done to my car..
1) Done a safety inspection check, change the engine oil and it's Castol FMX 1540 fully synthetic. is this a good oil? has any of you guys used this oil for your 325i E46 engine?
2) Secondly they've also change the resistor for the air conditioning because the air wasn't circulating very well and they've also disinfect and deodorize the air condition because there was alot of moisture built up.. has anyone here done this procedure before? can i anyone let me know how they go about it?
3) they've also change the alternator fan belt because it has cracks in it according to the service guy at BMW... the car has done 55000 km.. how can u tell that they've replace the fan belt and not the old one? can anyone here suggest to me?
4) one thing also, when i collected the car after the service, the engine was completely clean out, meaning no oil and dust on the engine.. does anyone know what they use to clean the engine?
