My ZHP is finally at the dealer!

My '04 Imola red ZHP arrived at the dealer tonight! I won't get it until Monday though - this will be an agonizing wait.

It took 3 weeks to get to the dealer from the port (Nova Scotia).

I went and had a look at it, and it is beautiful. I fired up the engine because I couldn't wait to hear the exhaust. It does sound nice. I couldn't try the HK stereo though, as I guess it had not been activated or something yet.

One disappointment though - it does not have folding rear seats. My '00 328i had them standard. All Canadian models used to have this feature. I will miss that.

Now, how do I stand the wait until Monday....

Do you know I have never seen an Imola Red BMW in the Orlando area and I have been looking at BMWs closely for 5 years now?

I am sure I will see one now that I have posted this......

Here is a pic of mine. I am still working on the pictures so it is not so good yet. I think I am going to install my photo software tomorrow and try posting some others. The good ones are just way too big of files as they are.

ZHP = 330i Performance Package. Instead of calling it the 330i PP (which could be short for Premium Package), it is referred to as the ZHP. And yes, the ZHP does stand for stuff...I believe they are short for German words.

bmwrocks: u haven't seen an imola red bmw yet? even on an m3? i've seen plenty of m3 imolas but when i got my zhp, i was the only 330 imola.In fact the same day i got my car i saw an imola m3 who looked at my car and gave me the thumbs up at a red light...But the week after i got my car, i saw an imola red zhp at the movies and then that same day another silver one! wasn't too happy but haven't seen a zhp on the road since then.

I have only seen 1 Imola red M3 and 1 silver ZHP so far. The driver that delivered mine said that the Imola ZHP are hard to get and are limited US production. But I think anyone that want one should have no problem getting one but who knows for sure.

Of interest...I was perhaps hours away from making a deal on a G35 Coupe when I heard the news about the ZHP coming to Canada. The timing was great. I would much rather have the BMW.
