Is nav-tv basically the best one (or the only one?) to go with if you want tv/dvd player installed with oem navigation?

NAV-TV is the only one that I'm aware of that makes these conversions.

Does anyone have any experience installing nav-tv either yourself or by paying someone? I called one store and they are asking $600 for installation. Is this too expensive?

Does the stock nav have the ability to play DVD's?
