Does any one here know of a BMW Mechanic in Bergen County, NJ. I live in Paramus, and would prefer someone around that area.

My car actted up a couple of days ago. It wouldn't start on the first try, and on the 2nd try it was having a hard time starting, but it did start (thankfully). As I was driving, I was at a stop light and went to turn right. The car had a really hard time accelerating. As I was going up the parkway, i tried to pass this one guy, I"m going 60, and even after i floored it the car wouldn't accerate. So, I pulled up to a gas station, filled my tank, and added injector cleaner. I only ued about 1/4 of my tank prior to the gast station stop. The car started fine, and also accelerated ok. The engine check light was still on. It goes on and off every now and then. I'd like to know what's causing this, and get the car diagnosed, without having to go to the dealer. There's gotta be a mechanic that works on bmw's.

I got a reply back from a Vic Lucariello, Sr from http://www.NJBMWCCA.ORG He was able to give me a name and number of a BMW Mechanic in Hackensack, NJ
I'm just trying to work out how I'm gonna go to work with my car at the shop, before I make an appointment.

Here's the Shop in case anyone else from the area needs it.

Rennsport Motor Works in Hackensack. Ask for Sal Puleio. 201 489 5577.
