I ordered a 330xi with PP, SP, CWP, and Xenon (w/ metallic paint) and I am curious to find out what you guys condsider a good deal on this car? I called around to several dealers before deciding which one I wanted to go to, I would ask them about the "wiggle" room and some were'nt willing to take even $1500.00 off the price to get me in the door! The MSRP on my car is $44,320. Edmunds.com and other websites say that there isn't much room to negotiate, what do you all think? What do you think would be a fair amount to get off the MSRP?

Competition is a big driver in how much you can get off. My MSRP was $43495 and I got it for $41800 ($2000 over invoice). My dealer is the only one around within 100 miles. I have read other folks getting $1500 over invoice and some even less.

If "Invoice" is the actual invoice of the car, then i am getting it for $1300 over invoice. I've read other postings where people have been able to $1000 over invoice, but the 300.00 isn't THAT big of deal I guess. When I was calling around asking for $2000 off sticker most people said they wouldn't touch it and basically hung up.

i think you got a great deal considering the fact that your dealer doesnt have much competition. i dont want to talk about the deal i got because after reading some of these posts, i realize that i negotiated poorly but i left the dealership thinking that i had done great. kudos to the salesman...but too bad i had to learn the truth

anyways, still no car after 11 days since it docked in jersey. Must be a long drive to Mass. I am starting to wonder if it had been damaged in transport[paranoid]

$1300 over invoice is a good deal for a 330xi in an area without much competition. I was able to negotiate $1000 over invoice, but there are about 6 dealerships within an hours drive. Competition definitely drives down the final price.

Good luck.

My car arrived in NJ on March 7th also and I haven't gotten it yet either (I'm in CT). I'm thinking that maybe the snow we've been having for the past few days have delayed the trucks [???1]

Aloha Susie520, Invoice is the price that the dealer paid for the car so yes 1300 over invoice is pretty decent in my book. I'm guessing that you found out the invoice for your car on the internet , and started bargaining from there. Good job[thumb]

Good news! My CA called today (friday) and told me that the car arrived, so you should be getting yours soon as well.
