I was looking into buying a brand new 330i. I was wondering what the best price would be for a base 2004 330i, no options, maybe just metallic paint. Is it possible to get it for Invoice? How low will the dealer go? I need the best pricing possible. I'm definitely going to buy it in the next two weeks.

Unfortunately, you probably won't be looking at a whole lot of $$$ off the MSRP. I would
'guess-ta-mate' between $600/$800 off the base and have them throw in some type of
dealer 'add-on', for example tinting (which is a good one because mostly what the dealer is paying for is the labor) and/or premium floor mats or another vehicle option up-grade.

I [can] say I highly doubt you'll see anything close to the invoice, unless, of course, you want to take a 'European Delivery.'

you can get $1,000 to $1,400 over invoice, but if you want base, you might have to order and wait 56 days for it to arrive. like everyone said, try on-line places, edmunds, autobytel, etc.

I have yet to see a base (no options) 330i on a dealer lot. Most have options well beyond metalic paint. A special order is probably necessary although a dealer can do a search to see if any other dealer has one or if one is in transit and has not yet been bought. That is the route I took to get the options and color combo I wanted. Production of the E46 sedans will cease this summer so get your order in soon if you choose that way. Good luck
