New Breaks?
hello, just bought a new 323i in japan. lately, i've noticed that the breaks makes noises when i press and relase the peddle at low speeds. the noise sounds like the break pads are scraping the the metal surface, which almost disappears once the car is warm and driven for quite some time. appears to occur during the initial stages of a drive out. the dealership tells me that it's quite normal for new cars to make this "scraping" noise, and should subside after 2000 kms (says the break pads need time to become "smoother" which i find hard to believe as this is after all a BMW!!!)... just wonder if any other owners of the 2006 3 series notice this as well... thanks.
