New colour on 330ci?

I was screwing around on the BMW website, and under the Build Your Own for a 330ci, there is a colour called Blue Quartz Metallic. Is that the same as Steel Blue Metallic (they do look very similar)? Why would BMW introduce a new colour on a dead model?

I like it though. Icy blue/silver metallics have always been my #1 favourite!!

Just checked, really looks like Steel Blue, maybe a little more blue, but still about the same.
