Marco, sweet looking BMW. I wish I could have one myself, and you get 2 of them. Welcome to the forum! I think you'll enjoy it here a lot. We're all pretty level headed and friendly!

Welcome to the forum. That's a great-looking 530d Wagon you got there, and I love the wheels. Show us pictures of the 330Ci as soon as you get it.

Welcome,

Diesel are not too popular in the states. I believe its the stigma of dirty knocking engines of the days of old

More along the lines of Americans thinking "diesel = slow" but what they don't know is that really diesel = great gas mileage, superb reliability/engine longeivty, and a variety of tuning options (or at least lots of potential horsepower to be had).

Herzlich Willkommen von der USA. Leider haben wir keine BMW Diesels...aber hoffentlich. Wir haben Mercs und VW.

Dein silberer Kombiwagen sieht sehr toll aus. Die 1996-2003 5er sind die Besten.

Wilkommen an Bord!!! Viel Glück mit dem 330ci!!!!

Tschüßiiiiii

Stimmt 250 auf der Autobahn ist unbeschreiblich geil. Ich habe 255 mit einer S-Klasse 320cdi gefahren. Ja ein CDI! Super...echt super!! Es war kein Fahren, anstatt fliegen. Ich bin geflogen!!!

Diesel would be nice, nice power, great gas milage, sweet for SUVs imo. my complaints lie in finding a damn station to fill up at! and how dirty the diesel puddles are. it's hard enough finding one around where you live, how hard would it be to find one when traveling somewhere?

It's not that hard finding diesel in the U.S., you just have to look a little bit further. No problem at all. Have done it for one year while I was travelling through the south. The only thing that sucks is the quality of diesel in the U.S. Cold starts mean blue smoke......

Hi!

I wanted to pick up my new old (it´s 05/2002, just 8k miles, driven by an retired man) car yesterday.
But my BMW dealer said I have to pay 6000$ extra on my 530d wagon. Originally I had to pay just 4000. This would be because they couln´t sell my wagon as good as the coupe (but Diesel wagons are really popular in Germany).
I called BMW in Munic and my lawyer tries to accuse the dealer.
This is really unbelievable!
I hope I´ll get the new car or at least the money for my wagon.
