Midas? Any exhaust place. They know what fits your car.

So guys, if you wanted to spend more, looking for a high performance and an enriched growel, what mufflers are suggested?

Is PCB panama city beach?

ya, pcb is panama city beach.
i've looked on ebay for mufflers and i keep seeing "fireball style" mufflers, are those any good, do they sound good or sound like a ricer etc?
are flowmaster mufflers any good, how would i know if a flowmaster muffler would fit my car etc?

An exhaust upgrade for your 318is is a very good investment and you can reap some benefits. You can get better looks, sound and some improved performance. I have a 318is and have had the factory exhaust, Remus and Supersprint. I recommend the Supersprint (about $400.00) as the Remus rusted out in about a year. It is either that or back to stock at about $200.00. I would not let Midas or anyone else cut my old muffler off and weld a new one on. They do not use the factory mounting system.

man, thats a crazy idea!
its about 20 hours of driving, not including stops. considering you make it there without a night stop, you probably couldnt make it back the next day without somesort of mental break.

and if you drove the most economical car, be it a honda, youd be spending $30 on gas.

thats how much it costs to ship the dumb thing.

i was putting my car back together yesterday and noticed a good amount of rusted open holes. time for a new muffler as well.

so, how does a tri-flo as advertised at bavauto compare to a supersprint as compared to a remus in terms of throaty sound and free-flow?

Does anybody have the sketch of the original exhaust hangers?
I guess someone messed up with mine because it makes all kind of noises, and it is hanged just by one hanger...[xx(] ....

From what I have read on various postings the Supersprint is the least noisy, the Tri-Flo the loudest, Big Daddy above posted he had the Remus rust out prematurely. All flow well. However do not expect much, if any, performance change unless you go with headers too. Bottom end will not be affected that you will notice unless you have made substantial other mods. Sound is the primary change.
