At first I didn't think I liked it, but I really really really do like that. You aught to paint the intake black. and keep the raised parts unpainted.

Wondering what you used as well, I've thought about doing this in black for mine. I don't want to do another color because it's silver. One question, did you use something to clean the intake? Mine's got that caramelish colored stuff all over it, and it looks terrible. It's got some pink from some bug cutter washer fluid as well...=/ I had my car painted and apparently they pulled the lines off and it went all over my engine bay. Kind of dissapointing.

Pressure washed, sandblasted, then powder coated. The intake manifold, when I had it off to do the vacuum and cooling lines, I pressure washed it. The yellow coating is a protective coating that they put on it at the factory
