I am looking at getting some new wheels with summer only tires GoodYear Eagle F1. I have winter-snow tires on the stock 20 spoke-pain-in-the-butt-to-clean stock wheels. I do not want to throw a ton of money in the wheels, just something good looking. I am looking at ASA AR1 in silver/machined lip, ASA JH3 silver, and Enkei J10. I know a LOT about the quality of motorcycle parts, but little to nothing on car aftermarket parts. Are these good brands to go with? I've done some searching the net for reviews of ASA & Enkei but found little info. If anyone has anything, I would be greatful. [wave]

I was just looking at those ASA AR1's today and considering buying them in chrome 19"...they are just BBS replicas(might not be as light as BBS's though) that cost a whole lot less...i am seriously considering them myself...dont know much about enkei though...just seen it in Gran Turismo...LOL

ASA wheels are top notch, the AR1 is a very nice/quality wheel and looks great.

Very affordable as well...

I highly recommend them to you, you won't regret it!

Believe me, I would love to do that. But, it is my wifes car, and she is an accountant. So nothing flashy or cool looking for her. I was lucky to get het to agree to the wheels. We wanted all wheel drive for the Chicago winters and she needed 4 doors for out of town business entertaining. We are considering upgrading to the 5 series next year for more space as they come in AWD now. Maybe by next year the 7s will come AWD?

Hehe, women...

I'm not too sure on the AWD 7, but either car would be a great upgrade. Are you going to get rid of this 325xi?

I do believe the 7 is getting a redesign for 2007/8 and it looks great from what I have seen!

I've tried that with purchases for my bike. Her being an accountant, she catches all money matters real quick. Sometimes before I can even get the parts on my bike. BTW, this is my bike if your interested.

That bike IS a Rice rocket! Honda VTX1800, 1800cc V-twin fuel injected, 110cu. inch, 102hp and 113torque at the rear wheel type Rocket. I designed the handlebars and had a shop build them for me(I can't weld very well) Custom paint by www.alcaldecustoms.com in a House of Kolors Kandy Burple over Galaxy Black Metalic base. Lightning ghosted in HoK Chameleon under the Burple so when you walk around it the lightning will fade away and another bolt will POP out. Chromed a lot of stuff, swingarm, front end, calipers. Custom RC Components wheels "Venom" design, went from the stock 16inch rear wheel to a 2 over 18inch rim. I like it [burnout]

Well a bike is totally out of the question while i am over here in Germany...

1. Have to pay for the license...which includes going to a actual driving(riding) school....my work schedule wont mesh with that.

2. Once I get the license i start out at the lowest CC level possible and work my way up thru the years.....ummm...no.

3. Full coverage insurance on a bike will be outrageous.....consider this...i have a BMW 523i..that is 170hp stock...I pay 500euros every 3mos.(~ $600) for full coverage...and i have been driving for about 12years and am over 30yo....

Sooo...as much as I would love to have one....have to wait til i go back to the states.....

wow why so much for insurance i only pay 600 a year for full coverage on the 328 and just over 300 a year for full coverage on my 1000cc superbike i do however agree to an extent on the cc limit rule im not sure if we need one as harsh but we do need to stop handing out these 1000cc in-line 4's to 18 year old kids that wreck them before they get them home i think you should have to spend like 2 or three years on a 600 at most which may still be to fast of a bike for some children
