Morning All

I have finally decided to get rid of my crap Clio and get some German Muscle [boxface]

I have seen a 2001, 300d with 69000 miles on the clock that I am very interested in.

I have never owned a diesel and wanted to know if there is anything I should look out for.

The car has part BMW and Part BMW specialist service, and looks to be in very good condition.

Is there anything I should look out for or check ?

The car is due a service in 6000 miles, would that be an Inspection 1 or 2, how does the service intervals work on BM's ?

Any help would be great,

Thanks,
Tapper.

The 60k service is the second one. It includes many things and is quite pricey. Other than that, there are little things that can go wrong with the engine, since it is german engineered :), but the electrical structure of the 2000 - 2001 models could possibly get you in trouble. But the bottom line is, that if it works, then it works, and there will be pretty much no way to tell if you have a problem. I am a bmw enthusiasts, therefore i would get it no matter what, if the price is right.
