Just curious...the manual of my '04 330i says there is a cup holder tray within the center arm rest for the back seat...but mine doesn't have one. Anyone else with an '04 and no cup holder in the backseat? I do have the cold weather package with the fold down seats and the ski bag...maybe that's why there is no cup holder? [???1]

Urgh - cup holders! Happy to say I don't have front or rear cup holders. What are they for? Do people really drive around with beverages sloshing around in their contained cups? I would never even consider drinking or eating while behind the wheel.

cool cool. i just wanted to make sure i wasn't the only one. surely, i can live without it as the car is absolutely awesome and drwho you're right, i wouldn't want anyone drinking back there and risk a spill anyway. i find the cupholders in the front seat convenient for holding my cell phone. I have a change machine for change so I practically have no use for my front cup holders. I used it to put my cell there but I always left it in the car as my memory is not what used to be.

More stupid than the lack of cupholders in the back is that my car has only ONE 12V plug (inside front ashtray)!!!! How lame is it that they couldn't even put one in the rear ashtray?

I could get a splitter I guess....

I just I found out something, I have 2 cup holders in the back and space enough for about 3 beers. Everything is in the rear foldaway armrest. The holders and everything else slides out of the armrest.

Same here! Do you have an ashtray in the back seat? With A lighter? I have a plug where the lighter should go but I would love to find wires under there for another outlet.

Who here thinks that BMW just throws whatever in the car. [wave]

My dipstick is nothing like the one in the manual and has no marking as to what is full and so on.

Inside my drivers door panel there is a sticker that shows 61 PSI for my tires [ohcrap]
yet the tires have 51 PSI max on them.

I give my owners manual a 60% accuracy rate, and 40% is for some other car. [???1]

I have an ashtray in the rear, it is at the very back of the center console just rear of the armrest with a sliding cover, kinda like a rollaway desk cover (curved), but NO lighter socket, just an ashtray with a little round thing to put out a butt. How stupid.

So you have a lighter socket back there with no lighter and it is not wired?? That eclipses the stupidity of mine. At least mine doesn't even have the socket.[?|] [?|] [?|] [mad]

that's what the manual for my 330i says it should have...the sliding thing out of the armrest...so your '95 bimmer has it then huh? oh well. i guess they tried to cut costs on the '04s.

The '95 has all the things you want except for the lighter in the back (yes there is an ashtray). I don't smoke and usually don't drink behind the wheel so I don't need all of this, how ironic.

All I see in mine is a plug, no wires. [8]

Mine was made in June '03, as an '03, and is the same as the '04 ZHP and I cant spot anything different about it. But I wonder if they didn't use up some old parts, why else would they redesign the cars yet still make some of them '03's when they are different than the '03's pre-March. I cant think of why else so many things don’t match the manual for my car. [???1]

"'04 330i"

[wave] recognize

Have you played the 330i DVD you received when you took delivery of your '04?

I took delivery in December of my 'ZHP' but didn't get the chance to view mine. I was only home for ten days, on vacation, from an overseas job. I made the trip just to pick up
my new Bimmer. [burnout]
