on my 330ci 2001, whenever i turn the steering wheel to the right i get this awful noise like something is scraping across the floor or if something is scraping against something... does anybody have any idea what this could be? also the coolant fluid light goes on sometimes randomly every morning for about 3 minutes then turns off...is this warning me that i have to add more coolant soon? Its only when i turn it on in the morning not when i turn it on in the afternoon. I'm not really sure what the coolant fluid does but is it turning on maybe because of temperature (it stays outside and i find the windows frosted up in the morning) does anybody know if i have to add more coolant or if its just turning on?

The coolant circulates in the engine to keep it from overheating, which would damage it.
It sounds like you are just at the start of being low on coolant. The cooler temperature causes the water to slightly contract, therefore a slightly lower level. As the car warms up the coolant expands enough to touch the sensor, turning off the warning.
You should check it, or have it checked at a service station, just to be safe.
