Since I bought my car, the alarm system has never worked. I thought it would be something small so I'd get around to fixing it sometime after the purchase, but now I want to get it working.
The battery in the remote key fob is fine. All the wiring stuff and the alarm module and sensors appear to be in tact but when you press the buttons on the alarm key fob, nothing happens, not a sound or a blink.
Can anyone give me any pointers as to where to start tracking the fault/cause?
