hey right on . looks like the moly count held up well as did the fuel %'s . You must have some good driving habits.[hihi]

are the results more or less that you expected. Sounds about right for a synthetic ( blend ) at 6500 miles. Synthetic is good for 7500m so you right on the money ..how much does the test cost now?

You made a typo there - it should be: Magnisium 147 / 193. [:D]

jonnyz16, go to their web page and request a free sample kit in the mail. It'll cost you $20 for the basic oil analysis, when you mail it in, for more money they can do an extended oil drain test to see if your motor oil is holding up it's own. Castrol Syntec is what BMW puts in the car from the factory, I don't know if it's 10%, 75% synthetic, I don't even know if it has anything sythetic in it . I use Amsoil today, which I know is pure synthetic motor oil! It'll be interesting to see what happens with my next sample at around 14-15,000 miles.

Is "Magnisium" a new element just discovered in Australia that they are keeping a secret?

WTF are you talking about?

And its 141 / 193, not 147 / 193.

Maybe you should call yourself DrWhat?[joke] [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]

Element 117 is as yet undiscovered. Its name is ununseptium, symbol Uus. There is no such thing as Magnisium, except as a mispelling for Magnesium.

You are a real BS artist aren't you.......your reputation is quickly deteriorating DrWho.......

lpquick, what oil filter are you using ? Do you plan on changing filters during your 15k test ? If not get yourself the best filter you can find ..K&N perhaps . or do you plan on changing at around 7500?

well I dont want to start and oil or filter debate but good choice on Amsoil..thanks for the link for the lab..
