oil drain cover

Anyone know the part number for the oil drain cover? Does everyone have this, mine didn't come with it.

It's for a 2004 330ci M-Sport

I think this is what you're looking for. Please note this is from a 2002 330, but it should be a correct part number.

Actually Vlad, any reason why my car didn't come with this. Some other 330ci owners said they didn't get it either.

i would go to the dealer and ask them why it wasnt included with the car ...

I've heard reports from e46 M3 owners that state that their car originally had the cover, (slightly different than the one for the 330), and after an oil change at the dealer, it was mysteriously missing. Apparently, some mechanics don't bother will replacing that cover.

you are correct ... i went back to some pictures a had taken of the car before my first oil change and the plate is there bolted on

now its not =)

My 04 330Ci didn't come with that cover either. I think BMW left it off for a reason.
