Oil Service Light Reset Tool with Engine Fault Code Reader

Bavarian Autosport is selling a Oil Service Light Reset Tool with Engine Fault Code Reader for my 2000 323CI for $150. Has anyone purchased this unit and is it worth the money to have one? Thank for your feedback.

JUS, can u pull up the codes on that one? I had a oil service reset tool for my E36 too. Was wondering if you have pulled any codes and did the service yourself. Thanks.

Yes you can read codes the rest tool starts in the (FC) Fault codes it won't read the fault codes until you press the start button. I have used the reader for Oil / Service I had my transmission service at the dealer for $246.00. oil change for my car cost $95.00, you can see the savings and the service for my car is $900.00 (Convertible). The tool works great it also comes with a Bavarian Autosports Fault Code Reader/Reset Tool Instruction Manual & Code Charts. It reads code for vehicles from 1987-1999.
