OMG, the hot Finance girl just sold me warranty stuff!!

Now I usually run from extended warranties etc BUT those hot chicks (um, women) in the finance department have a way with me- I just can't say no!!

Did I do wrong??? I bought a "Lease wear and tear cover" from Autonation, for $300, that pays for any excess wear and tear at the end of the lease- dents, chips stains etc (might need that for the Alcantara), it also pays for up to 1000 excess miles on the lease (itself worth $200)

...AND $175 for "wheel and tire repair and replacement cover" incase of punctures, or warped rims due to pot holes etc. I figure one use of this would pay for itself (18" rims= $$$!!!)

Yikes did I just throw $475 down the crapper?!?!

I would not say a waste of money. You would just need to look at the differences in what it covers. A lease is fairly specific on what is chargeable and what is not and you should get a brochure that spell it all out. Rock chips are not chargeable but dents are, but if they are small dents from parking lot doors they are not chargeable.

It just depends on how much leeway beyond this they are giving you.

Hahaha, that is an old trick. Use an attractive woman to try to sell you stuff. Your best bet, to find out if the plans are worth it, would have been to flirt with the girl. If she flirts back and gives you the time of day, then go with it and hear her out. But if she just wants to sell you stuff, don't even bother. As theBMWenthusiast said, you will most likely never see her again....you might as well have a little fun talking and flirting while buying her shit.
