Our new Münchner bahnstormer has arrived

Hey guys,

After over 3 weeks of waiting, our new X5 4.4i has arrived. We took delivery yesterday. It is really amazing. I know this is our E46 board, but just thought I would share a picture. It is titanium Silver with Black leather, cold weather pkg, premium pkg, rear climate pkg, sport pkg, 19" alloy wheels, dark wood, park distance control, Navigation & premium sound.

Now we have 3 BMWs in our household....officially all MBZs have been replaced. Fingers crossed that the guys in München design & build better, more reliable cars than the guys in Stuttgart

Very very nice. Absolutely GORGEOUS!!!

My wife is constantly telling me how much she likes her X5 more than my 330. Says it is so much more comfortable. I guess if comfort is a priority, she is right. Cause mine handles a lot better. BTW I take nothing away from the X5s handling. It is an amazing vehicle.

Thanks man. Yeah, I totally agree....our 330s handle way better...but the wifey is right....if I had to choose between the two to take a long drive in...I would so take the X5. If I am ripping through our local Hollywood Hills' canyons...the X5 is staying at home!!!!

The X5 w/Sport Package does handle extremely well, though. I have been in them many times (both 4.4 and 3.0, several people I know have them) and they handle jaw-droppingly well. It takes turns at speeds that would make any other SUV lose its composure but the X5 handles them like a walk in the park.
