Paint change

Hi, I'm new on here... But I just have a question, and was hoping that maybe someone could answer it. I haven't bought my BMW yet, but I'm looking at a 2000 323 Ci convertible. It's silver with a black top, and I'd like to change the color of the paint to white. My question is: how much would it cost (approximately) to change it from silver to white if I get it custom painted in a pearl white color? Thanks.

well painting a car can cost any where from 800 (low quality paint and paint job) to about 2000 all depemding on the painter plus pearl white costs a little bit more

especially since BMW's are expensive to maintain or fix, it will proabaly cost way more to have a custom pearl white paint job. proabably would cost almost 3k if you want a really good paint job.

Yeah, aftermarket paint will never be the same as original.

Just find the car in the factory color you like best, or learn to compromise.

Painting will also hurt resale value, because even if you don't care
about the quality of the paint, your buyer probably will, and may also
suspect the car was in an accident and needed paint and body work.
