I was replacing my P/L's with SilverVision bulbs and I guess I didn't have the bulb seated fully in the connector. The bulb dropped out inside the housing when I tried to re-install the connector. I scratched up the inside of the housing trying to get the bulb out. Nothing worked, the bulb is still in there. I am desperately searching to find out how to take my headlight housing out and remove the bulb. I have the one-piece bi-xenon housing w/o headlight washers. Please help. [pray]

Try using a magnet on the outside to pull it up towards the top. Use long thin tweezers from Harbor Freight tools or the likes to pull it out.

Just a suggestion......

I've used the mechanics magnet and "lady fingers" rod to try and grab it and it is impossible! I also tried a cut clothes hanger with duct tape wrapped around it. I really need someone to point me in the right direction and inform of how to remove the assembly to turn it upside down and have the bulb fall out. Thanks for the replies though.

Try using a tweezer or thin stick with a drop of super-glue on the tip if you can contact the bulb with the stick. Otherwise, maybe you can visit the dealer and buy your Salesman or SA a cup of coffee and ask for some help? Goodluck...

Aren't you the guy who hit the rabbit and had some bodywork done? Why not drop by that shop and ask for some help, usually the advisor is more than happy to handle recent customers.

Yeah, I was the unfortunate who hit the rabbit. Actually no damage was done. The foglight trim just snapped back in and the honeycomb grill as well. Thank god for plastic clips! Apparently no one knows how to remove this type of headlight on this forum? Thank you for the replies although all has already been tried., except going to the dealership. I was trying to avoid that. Thanks again. If any of you are able to find that info of the removal please contact me.

Your turning signals are a little different than mine....but I removed mine once to take the main light's lens off for cleaning (you'd be suprised how much of a film accumulates on the inside). Anyway, for mine you have to use a screw driver to press through one of the holes in the metal. The hole is above the parking light under the hood...you can see a little plastic release down below that will pop out the parking light. It's that simple. I don't have my bentley manual in front of me to look up your car though...maybe somebody has theirs out.

Do a search for aftermarket clear lenses and I bet they woudl have instructions for popping out the parking lights on the coupe.
