My 98 M roadster was upgraded with Dinan Stage II suspension and Koni adjsutable shcoks, Dinan engine software, and a Dinan front strut tower brace. It also has a cold air intake and some cosmetic changes. I love the way it handles, looks and runs.
Tires can make a huge difference in handling. Depending on what is on the car now, you may feel a big difference going to a high performance tire. Where is McHenry - do you need all-season tires or can you go with a "sunshine" summer tire?

I was wondering where I would find this dinan engine software? Also when i turn the dynamic stability control off it still makes the engine bog down when there is tire slipage; would some kind of engine software get rid of that?
To be fair Jim Confortti makes excellent engine softwae for your car as well as others. I do not think any aftermarket software is going to change what you described. I am surprised that the engine bogs with the DSC off? This is something I'd have to look into.
