Persistent Electrical Problems 325Cic --maybe SRS replacement

I need help and some ideas. I posted a thread about Haywire Electonics a few weeks back. After great advice, I discovered gallons of water in my trunk, and a wet battery compartment. I dried it out, reconnected the battery, and everything worked, no problem. For a few minutes.

All the problems came back, and when it rained, so did the water. The dealer found the clogged water drainage areas, so the accumulating water is solved. However, the dealer THINKS the electrical problem is fixed, because everything works during their check period (soon after a battery disconnect) But after 30 minutes of driving, the same symptoms return:

Loss of turn signals
Loss of emergency flashers
Loss of steering wheel control of radio
Airbag light on.
No remote locking/unlocking using key
Cant raise/lower convertible top

Now the dealer says the computer reports that it cant access the SRS module. Replacement costs about 900. My guess is that its a false code due to the electrical problems.

I want to fix the problem, and I dont want to drive without an airbag sensor, but I dont want to unnecessarily pay for replacement of all the systems when the actual problem is the electrical system in general...ie..I fear a new SRS will also not be located by the computer, so why replace it?

Any advice out there?
